Most people's photos sit in cloud storage, rarely revisited, never turned into anything. Love In Color lived in that gap - an AI agent that guides users through their memories, then generates a custom coloring book from them.
I owned UX strategy, conversational agent UX, visual design system, and the Shopify commerce experience.
Getting users to share enough context for the AI to generate something meaningful - without the input feeling like a form. The onboarding had to feel like a conversation, not a data collection exercise.
I designed Rachel - the AI agent - as a guide, not a chatbot. Each prompt was written to surface a specific memory type. The flow was structured so users felt they were reminiscing, not filling in fields. Claude and Claude Code ran through the agent design, the component system, and parts of the build.
A Shopify-native design system handling the full commerce arc - memory input through book preview, customization, and checkout. The agent UX and the purchase flow share the same visual language.
